Founded in 1639, Exeter, like a lot of other places in New England, started out as a mill town. One of the community's old mills has new life today as an upscale apartment community.
CertaPro Painters® of the Seacoast & Lakes Region of New Hampshire completed a repaint of the Exeter Mills apartments in December. The units were occupied so the owners wanted to keep odor to a minimum. Scott Mitchell of CertaPro Painters contacted his Sherwin-Williams store in Stratham, N.H. to make sure he had the best product for this major project.
"Sherwin-Williams and my paint rep, Mike Lucci, rushed right out and did a site visit," he says. "They put together a paint spec, took samples and produced a custodian report for the customer providing color information and product placement to help me land an $87,000 job."
Low-VOC ProGreen® 200 was specified to address the customer's odor concerns.
"The ProGreen product worked out extremely well for us. All the tenants commented on how great it looked and we had no issues with odor or dry times," Mitchell says. "We also had a little bit of a color change and the ProGreen Eg-Shel covered extremely well."
