Video Transcription:

Hi, I'm Jessica Letchford, designer marketing manager for Sherwin-Williams.

I'm going to walk you through the Sherwin-Williams ColorSnap Design Pro Suite.

So you know how to use all of these features of these new professional color tools.

We have created ColorSnap by carefully studying how you and your clients experience color.

The result is that ColorSnap is fast, simple and seamless.

Let's start with the enhanced Sherwin-Williams palette.

We offer more than 1,500 hues, which are now grouped by color family in all of our designer tools, making wave finding consistent and easy.

Colors are organized by family first, then saturation levels.

Whites, neutrals and subtle grays are now grouped together making them easy to locate.

Through extensive research, Sherwin-Williams color experts filled in high demand color families, including blues, yellows and neutrals.

We also added a series of mid-value hues across all color families.

Now, for the fan deck itself.

We worked carefully with design professionals to redesign our fan deck to be faster, simpler and more durable.

It's ergonomically designed with rounded edges and contains our complete palette of colors.

You've probably noticed already that it comes in a sturdy case and is simple to open and secure closed with the attached elastic.

It includes a sheen, gloss and color prime gray shade primers reference.

Now meet our portable and desktop kit, scaled for your office or on the go.

Each kit includes a fan deck, pallet guide and color folio, which I'll tell you more about in a second.

This portable kit contains the complete refreshed palette in eight binders.

Use the spine of each binder to quickly locate the color family you need.

You can order this kit two ways: as a desktop kit, this includes the shelf tray which will hold your fan deck and other tools; or as a portable kit.

This comes with a stylish carrying bag, perfect for on-the-go.

Open the bag and the kit is also ready for easy use in your office space.

Let's take a closer look inside one of the color family binders,

which are designed to make it easy to locate color and stay organized.

Each binder is tabbed and the samples are clearly identified and hole punched making it easy to find and remove and replace color while keeping the palette and sequence.

Binder color samples are approximately four by four, on heavy paper stock.

And each individual color sample is perforated.

So it's easy to tear out for a client or presentation.

The remaining tab includes the information you need to easily identify and reorder samples.

These next two tools make it easy to see our entire palette and your favorite colors at a glance.

The palette guide houses all of our colors in one place.

It's a handy reference tool that allows you to see all the colors in the Sherwin-Williams palette by color family.

The color folio's designed to help you store and present favorite colors.

It opens wallet style to hold 24 color samples which you can replace and arrange quickly and easily.

Save and access your favorites faster.

The four by four color samples are presented in waterfall format so they can all be viewed at the same time.

For our portable or desktop kits color samples come as four by four.

Oversized samples are also available in eight by elevens.

On all samples you'll find a color name.

Names have stayed the same on all existing colors.

Color number: this is the familiar SW number.

Numbers have stayed the same on all existing colors.

The palettes new colors will be numbered in an SW 9000 series.

Locator number: the new locator number is sequential.

Letting you know exactly where in the palette each color lives.

Cut lines: four by four and eight by eleven samples have multiple cut lines on the back.

With color descriptions for easy use, and identification and design projects.

You can use either a color number or locator number to order samples.

We hope this video helped you understand how to get the most out of the ColorSnap Design Pro Suite.

You can order color samples anytime at mySW.com and tools through your local account executive.
