More About Color of the Year
The palette found within the 2025 Color Capsule of the Year was selected by Director of Color Marketing Sue Wadden and the Sherwin-Williams Trendsight Team. This expertly edited curation features key colors from our Colormix® Forecast and designer shades, plus a mix of essential neutrals and the most beautiful hues of the moment.
Each year, color leaders from around the world gather for the Annual Color Forecast Workshop. They use research, color trend reports and industry analysis to think through what will be trending in the upcoming seasons. From these learnings, the Annual Colormix Forecast is developed and the Color of the Year is found among those palettes. Learn more about the process here.
