Unpainted Concrete Basement and Laundry Room Floors
1. Prepare the surface by cleaning the floor and etching the surface to permit penetration of the stain.
2. Apply two coats of CONFLEX Flexible Concrete Waterproofer Smooth, H&C COLORTOP Solvent-Based Solid Color Concrete Sealer or H&C COLORTOP Water-Based Solid Color Concrete Stain according to label directions.
3. If desired, decorate with an H&C Shield-Crete Water-Based Epoxy Clear Coat Kit.
Unpainted Concrete Walls
1. Apply two coats of H&C COLORTOP Water-Based Solid Color Concrete Stain according to label directions.
2. Surfaces that are damp due to moisture penetrating through the walls should be coated with 1 or 2 coats of H&C® Basement & Masonry Waterproofer.
Painted Concrete Surfaces
1. Remove all old, peeling, flaking paint.
2. Rough the surface with sandpaper and clean thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion of stain.
3. Apply two coats of H&C COLORTOP Water-Based Solid Color Concrete Stain according to label directions.
