Step-by-step instructions for applying to concrete floors:

Painted concrete garage floors

1. Remove all old, peeling, flaking paint.



2. Roughen the surface with sandpaper and clean thoroughly to ensure proper adhesion.



3. Apply H&C® Shield-Crete® Garage Floor Epoxy according to label directions. A test area should be applied to check for compatibility to previous coating.



4. Apply two coats of H&C® Shield-Crete® Acrylic Glaze Coat according to label directions.



5. For additional slip-resistance, H&C® SharkGrip® Slip Resistant Additive can be used.




Unpainted concrete garage floors

1. Prepare the surface by removing foreign substances. Scrape off any surface debris, such as putty, oil, old chipped paint and dirt.



2. Apply H&C® Shield-Crete Epoxy Concrete Floor Coating according to label directions.



3. Apply H&C® Shield-Crete® Garage Floor Epoxy according to label directions. A test area should be applied to check for compatibility to previous coating.



4. For additional slip-resistance, H&C® SharkGrip® Slip Resistant Additive can be used.


To concrete walls:

1. Prepare the surface.



2. Apply two coats of H&C® Concrete Stain Solid Color according to label directions.
