Before & After: Diana Made a Big Entryway Impact by Painting This Overlooked Spot

Just because every stair rail you’ve seen stays neutral doesn’t mean yours has to.

I would describe my style as casual with some boho and modern flairs as well.

I’m Diana, and this is my daughter Olive, and we live here with my husband. Welcome to our home in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

The passageways in our home can often be overlooked, but those are spaces that we can easily add character to. Before, it definitely wasn’t the most exciting. It served its purpose.

So we decided to paint the stairwell and the back of the front door, just to add some more pops of color in our home.

The color Amalfi is vibrant, full of energy, full of life. It’s something that someone notices as soon as they come in.

Painting a stairwell a bold color isn’t seen very often. I don’t have any friends that have a bold stairwell.

It’s always fun to go a little bold and do something kind of out of the ordinary.
