CARA: I would describe the style in our house as minimal, but with like a feminine flair. He’s super supportive about it. He loves pink too.
MIKE: It’s my favorite.
CARA: Hi I’m Cara, and this is my husband Mike. The style in our house has evolved over the last couple years. We used to have a more eclectic style, where now it’s a little more minimal. Before we painted the ceiling it was a little bland. We definitely needed some color in there. Now it’s kind of like a soft cloud over the room. It’s really relaxing.
MIKE: You know like when you first get your braces off, I don’t know if this is weird, but like you constantly look at your smile, right? So like now, like I constantly look at the ceiling in the room.
CARA: Blushing is a really calm, and it’s also like a really flexible color, so you can put it in any room. Your home should be a reflection of your style and sometimes that involves bending the rules, even if it doesn’t fit everyone else’s criteria.
