Get Inspired
Start by finding your inspo photo. Miami is so vibrant and so is this adorable beach hut, so we thought it was perfect inspiration for this beach-themed room.
Find Colors
Use the Sherwin-Williams Match a Photo tool on the web or download our ColorSnap® App to create a custom color palette with colors from your photo.
Paint Base Colors
We used Aloe SW 6464 for a large portion of the wall, then added High Reflective White SW 7757 and Agua Fría SW 9053 to mimic the beach waves of Miami.
Tip: Not sure how much paint you need? Try our Paint Calculator for a helpful estimate.
Colors We Used
Like what you see? Here are the shades we used for this project.
Add Accents
Make a statement by adding one or more accent element. To create a circle like ours, trace the outline with chalk, then fill with a bold color like Thermal Spring SW 6761 to give the room a nice focal point.
You can also add color beyond your walls. We painted a circular planter with Exuberant Pink SW 6840 and a floating shelf with Invigorate SW 6886.
Style Your Space
Style your room with plenty of palm leaves, pineapples and party vibes and your tropical at-home oasis will come to life.
