  I used this product on quarter log siding in our newly purchased home. The siding had never been stained since installation(10+ years ago) & was exposed to northern upstate NY winters. This stain made the siding look brand new & could not have been more true to color from the sample(yankee barn) From the smooth application, to the timeless finish, I highly recommend this product to all!

  I was talking to the lady at our local store about stains. She asked what I was going to stain and recommended this product. We decided on a color (cedar bark) and didn’t regret it. It made our wood columns on our house look beautiful, I’m so pleased how it turned out. I’m going to try and figure out how to post before and after pics.

  Stain is not water resilient

  My builder used this stain on my porch ceiling on cypress and it does not seal. Any water contact will cause it to wash off and leave unstained wood exposed. I have a ceiling that will not withstand any cleaning or other care.

  I made a custom black color mix. I have old, weathered, wood exterior furniture. The grain is raised and rough from being left unfinished and in the sun and rain for many many years. There is no way painting is an option. However, the base structure is sound, so I thought "why not" try to stain/seal them instead of painting. Nothing to lose. My inspiration is shou sugi ban, where the grain shows as part of the appeal. I have to say that I am thrilled!! It was obvious that the wood was drinking this stain up and it looks gorgeous with a single coat!! After drying, it has absolutely zero transfer (was worried it could rub off on clothing).
