    Clean the surface with a bucket of soapy water and sponge to remove any dirt and oils before priming. Let dry.

    Sand the surface of the console table. Wipe excess dust with a damp cloth.

    Remove drawer pulls.

    Use a 2” Purdy Clearcut Elite brush to edge the console table with primer.

    Now with a the Purdy Marathon Wire Mini Roller, prime the rest of the table using the “W” technique. Let dry.

    Use a 4” roller to paint the remaining areas using the “W” technique. Let dry.

    Hook a tape measure to the top left corner of the drawer and pull it to the right, making a mark where the first color-block will end.

    Measure and mark the size of your design lightly with a pencil.

    Tape off the sections that you will be painting first.

    Use a 1.5” brush to apply Emerald Interior Acrylic Latex Paint (Real Red SW 6868) to the first block.

    Use a brush to paint the rest of the remaining section.

    Use a brush to paint the rest of the remaining section.

    Wait for paint to dry, remove tape. Repeat the taping step for the following two colors.

    Use a brush to paint the rest of the remaining section.

    Use a brush to paint the rest of the remaining section. Let dry.

    Reattach the drawer pulls.

    Remove tape, and enjoy!
