Peel Away 1 Paint Remover is easily applied on interior and exterior wood, brick, stone, marble, terra cotta, granite, terrazzo, concrete, cement, stucco, plaster, metal, cast iron, steel, tin, copper, tile, enamel, clapboard, and slate. Always perform a small test to determine speed and efficacy. In a few instances, Peel Away 1 may darken some hardwood surfaces. Works best on pre-1980 based coatings. The older the better!

  Applied Peel Away 1 to a ceiling using a 3" scraper. The instructions recommended applying the paste at 1/8" to 1/4" thick. I applied the paste at 1/16" to 1/8" thick to increase the expected number of square feet. The thin layer of paste removed several layers of paint, approx 3/16" thick. I did not believe how well it works until a 38" x 10' section dropped to the floor with little to no scraping. Please remember you must apply the paper over the paste, and you will need to purchase extra paper separately.

  It said to leave on for 2-3 day max I left it on for 6 days being lazy and also because I had 3 children over. With out an effort with a brand new scraper I removed two large pieces of the paper it comes with full of paint. I rolled it up the paint and the paper in one piece like a piece of carpet scraping at the same time and after i used a 3" paint eater on the end of drill for clean up

  This product does exactly what it says it is going to do! You honestly get your moneys worth with this product. I will never go back to spending hours and hours of striping the old fashion way ever again!
