  Compared to scraping, sanding discs, or stripper, this thing is the bee's knees! Be careful of exposed metal (nails/staples/screws/etc) as they do chew through the grinding surfaces quickly, but as long as you can control the tool, it is VERY efficient!

  Great at removal but be careful

  This is a great product. We had old "DeckOver" paint on our deck and this product removed the paint where the chemical removers would not touch. I will warn you though, have a tight grip on the grinder and be ready for knots or screw heads. I ran over a knot and the tool shot out of my hand and sliced open the toe of my work shoes, only a minor cut on my toe but shoe is ruined, oh well. I suggest using a variable speed angle grinder and start off slow to get use to what works for you and your project. Good Luck all.

  This tool is amazing, I saw it in the store, and asked about it. I was shown a sample board that had been prepped with this tool and thought I would give it a try, I'm very glad I did! It is very quick and easy to use, and in no time at all you can learn to control how much or little you remove.
