  [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, in 35 years of using Krylon products, I am absolutely impressed with the results on whatever surface I apply it to. I purchased the High Heat Krylon to paint my baseboard heaters. After prepping the surface, I had the first 2 cans not spray consistently. Went from running to light mist. Shacking the can or angle of delivery to pressing the nozzle made no difference.

  I purchased the paint 4 days ago to repaint the heat plate on my coffee maker. The can says that this paint is rated up to 600 degrees. The plate never gets hotter than 208. I sanded the plate down and cleaned it with alcohol to prepare the surface. I followed the can directions and gave 4 coats of paint, waiting 20-25 minutes in between each coat. After the final coat, I waited 24 hours to dry. I put the plate into the oven at 225 degrees for 20 minutes to help bake on the finish. I waited anther 24 hours to cure. When I finally used the coffee maker, the paint melted on the plate and stuck to the carafe. It smelled terrible as well. The product did not work as intended.

  Seems good, but the instructions on the can side is useless, barely visible and don't say nothing about multiple layer applications.
