I purchased these covers to protect an interior wall while painting. Werner says they are scuff-proof. The blue scuffed off on the previously painted wall. I had to wrap towels around them so they wouldn't leave blue marks. Something designed to protect the walls shouldn't damage them! I've now seen online where other people had the same problem.

More variety is needed on those simple lader covers!

Besides of many years of popularity of those covers they could be of various popular colors: red green, yellow, black, brown, orange, "silver", "golden", "bronze", apple green, florescent pink etc.
They could be reflecting in a dark(whilst carried on a top of the vehicle) !
They could be of better shape, because retractable ladders do not shrink to compact shape wearing them; it's not convenient for storage or transportation.
Could be coming in different sizes.
