Account Connection Setup

Yes, connecting your accounts is completely free. However, this does not waive the cost of QuickBooks Online account fees or subscription costs.
You can manage your Sherwin-Williams PRO+ and QuickBooks Online connection from any browser through your desktop, laptop or mobile device. Currently, the connection cannot be managed through the S-W PRO+ app.
No. This connection is only compatible for Essentials, Plus and Advanced versions of QuickBooks Online.
Only one user per account can connect to QuickBooks Online. If a user on the account has already connected with QuickBooks Online other users will not be able to connect. Only the individual with financial access to the account will be able to connect and manage invoices.
Expense Categories
Use the same vendor and expense category you are currently using for Sherwin-Williams in QuickBooks. When connecting to QuickBooks from your PRO+ account, the expense category drop-down options will only include the options set up in your QuickBooks account.
When connecting your Sherwin-Williams PRO+ account to QuickBooks Online, only your existing expense categories from QuickBooks will display. If you didn’t set up your QuickBooks Online configuration, ask your accountant or bookkeeper. Exporting Transactions
The transaction types available are Cash Correct, Cash Return, Cash Transaction, Credit, Invoice and Return.
Yes. You can open the transaction in QuickBooks Online and edit any details.
No. You only need to connect the first time you export.
Once you have connected your Sherwin-Williams PRO+ account with your QuickBooks Online account it will automatically reconnect each time you export invoices. If you change your QuickBooks login credentials, you will be required to recreate the connection.
Transactions you export to QuickBooks Online are automatically assigned a unique 14-digit number. Since most Sherwin-Williams invoice numbers are only 5 digits long, additional digits are added when you export. The first 5 digits of a transaction number in QuickBooks Online should match the original number on your Sherwin-Williams invoice. You’ll also find that invoice number in the Memo field of each transaction.
