Sherwin-Williams sub-contracts installation labor to independent professional installers. The sub-contractor is required to go through a background investigation based on state regulation. The sub-contractor is required to meet the insurance types and limits as set forth by The Sherwin-Williams Company.

All installers go through an onboarding process and are expected to follow these accountability standards.

  • Installers must exhibit professional conduct.

  • Appropriate attire and presentation

  • Communication on job updates & progress

  • Comprehension of scope and work

  • Sherwin-Williams requests installers to complete an Installation Checklist after each job.

  • Review of safety standards & expectations

  • Sherwin-Williams will provide customer follow up & confirmation.
