Love this stain, color matched to house

I have used this exterior solid stain multiple times. It goes on easily with a brush or a roller. I found that using a 1/2 inch thick roller works great on a wooden deck. It tries quickly and it looks really nice. I had them color match to my exterior siding color and it looks very uniform and elegant. The stain holds up very well. I stained wooden benches to match the deck and they look great as well. On bare wood I would plan on two coats. Or if the stain is a light color like mine is. I like that the deck is cooler because of the technology in this stain that reflects the light for a cooler deck floor when walking on it barefoot. I live in a cold winter climate where we got a lot of snow. I completely refurbished my deck four years ago and it still looks great. I have a 15 x 40 deck. I used this product to refinish the whole thing. I used white and King’s Canyon. It was the best paint/stain I’ve ever used. It was a breeze to apply, and clean up was easy. Totally recommend!Was this review helpful to you? Login to rate it.

Color Choice

We have been using Sherwin Williams with our small business since the very beginning for Interior Painting. Recently we gave their "Super Deck" a shot as a client recommended that's what she wanted. We chose a Solid Cedar that shows online of brown, the typical color. Yet when we applied it to the customers deck it turned out as a white cream NOT AT ALL BROWN.
