Fantastic product

6 years ago I painted 4 areas in 2 offices for dry erase boards. A 4x12 area and a 4x4 area in by boss's office, and a 4x6 and a 4x4 area in my office. While it is a clear product, I painted the walls first with white primer in the area I was going to paint the coating on. This stuff is bullet proof. Bright colors do stain a bit if left on the board for a wile. I needed to re-clear an area on the first board I did, as I didn't apply enough. There were some areas that were a little rough. Trying to be lazy I thought I could just wipe liquid deglosser on it to rough it up. The deglosser didn't do anything to the coating except remove the stains! So for the last 5 years I've used liquid deglosser to clean my board every once in a while if there are some dry erase stains. I am just about to paint a 4x25 area with this product. I bought 3 kits just to be sure, as they cover about 50 sq ft each.I don't want to be a tiny bit short as I'm trying to finish it up. It was a bit tough to track this down. Great for Office - But Can Stain

This product is great for any size office. It's sleek and professional. One major fault of the paint is that bright colors (example Expo neon pink) stains the board. Nothing takes it out. The paint must absorb it. Stick with the classic black, green, red, blue or any of the darker colors. This product will match the texture of the wall as well. Functional, but choose base color wisely

Love the idea of this for my kids to have a space to be able to use. They've been able to draw, as well as occasionally use for explanations on math problems. Sometimes helps to visualize on a bigger space. One thing that we've had difficulty with is we went with a lighter wall color, so some of the dry erase colors are tough to completely get out of the wall. Over time I'm sure we'll end up repainting the wall to keep things clean, but the concept of this paint is terrific. Great Product!

I was hesitant due to the price, but well worth it. What I liked most is this kit included everything! I didn't have to worry about the kind of roller to use or anything else. The directions were so easy to follow. I painted 2 - 3'x6.5' (40 sq ft) closet doors and there was enough paint for both. I painted the doors in my Florida garage and so the humidity factor was far exceeded but without any repercussions. The doors only required one coat. The finished product was smooth and very glossy. We used Expo markers after about 5 days and they draw and erase great. No shadow even with red. We used a regular dry erase eraser.Was this review helpful to you? Login to rate it.
