Choosing the right type of wallcovering is as important as choosing the right style. While you'll find information about the covering clearly marked on the label, here are some of the factors to consider in making your selection:
          

• EasyChange™ wallcoverings are available with an easy-to-install and easy-to-remove guarantee. Some are non-pasted and require the manufacturer's recommended adhesive to install properly.
         

• Paper-backed vinyl, solid vinyl and fabric-backed wallcoverings are especially durable, terrific for kids' rooms, kitchens and baths, high-traffic areas or anywhere in the home.
               

• Vinyl-coated wallcoverings add a sophisticated touch, particularly pleasing in living rooms and dining rooms.
          

• Most wallcoverings are washable or scrubbable, factors especially important in kitchens and baths.
            

• Eventually, every wallcovering will have to be removed.
           
  

  • Peelable wallcoverings are removed quickly by loosening a corner and pulling. This peels away the decorative layer and leaves the plain bottom layer on the wall, which will wash off easily with soap and water.
